My Beloved, don't be heartless with me.
Your Presence is my only cure.
How can I be left with neither a heart, nor my Beloved?
Either return my heart, or do not deny me
Your Presence.

Omar Khayyam
There was a Door to which I found no Key:
There was a Veil through which I could not see:
Some little Talk awhile of Me and Thee
There seemed -- and then no more of Thee and Me.
There was a Veil through which I could not see:
Some little Talk awhile of Me and Thee
There seemed -- and then no more of Thee and Me.
motto to which Roald Dahl lived
" My candle burns at both end
It may not last the night
But ah! my foes and oh! my friends
It gives a wonderful light"
It may not last the night
But ah! my foes and oh! my friends
It gives a wonderful light"

ooooohhhhh Adams Sir! what lyrics!
To really love a woman
To understand her - you gotta know her deep inside
Hear every thought - see every dream
N' give her wings - when she wants to fly
Then when you find yourself lyin' helpless in her arms
Ya know ya really love a woman
When you love a woman you tell her
that she's really wanted
When you love a woman you tell her that she's the one
Cuz she needs somebody to tell her
that it's gonna last forever
So tell me have you ever really
- really really ever loved a woman?
To really love a woman
Let her hold you -
til ya know how she needs to be touched
You've gotta breathe her - really taste her
Til you can feel her in your blood
N' when you can see your unborn children in her eyes
Ya know ya really love a woman
When you love a woman
you tell her that she's really wanted
When you love a woman you tell her that she's the one
Cuz she needs somebody to tell her
that you'll always be together
So tell me have you ever really -
really really ever loved a woman?
You got to give her some faith - hold her tight
A little tenderness - gotta treat her right
She will be there for you, takin' good care of you
Ya really gotta love your woman...
And when you find yourself liying helpless in her arms
you know you really love a woman
When you love a woman you tell her
that she's really wanted
When you love a woman you tell her that she's the one
Cuz she needs somebody to tell her
that it's gonna last forever
So tell me have you ever really
- really really ever loved a woman?
just tell me have you ever reall -
really really ever loved a woman
ohh
just tell me have you ever reall -
really really ever loved a woman
To understand her - you gotta know her deep inside
Hear every thought - see every dream
N' give her wings - when she wants to fly
Then when you find yourself lyin' helpless in her arms
Ya know ya really love a woman
When you love a woman you tell her
that she's really wanted
When you love a woman you tell her that she's the one

From Brayan Adams, to me to you :)
Rescue me from the mire
Whisper words of desire
Rescue me - darling rescue me
With your arms open wide
Want you here by my side
Come to me - darling rescue me
When this worlds closing in
Theres no need to pretend
Set me free - darling rescue me
I dont wanna let you go
So Im standing in your way
I never needed anyone like Im needin you today
Do I have to say the words?
Do I have to tell the truth?
Do I have to shout it out?
Do I have to say a prayer?
Must I prove to you how good we are together?
Do I have to say the words
Rescue me from despair
Tell me you will be there
Rescue me - darlin rescue me
Every dream that we share
Every cross that we bear
Come to me - darlin rescue me
Whisper words of desire
Rescue me - darling rescue me
With your arms open wide
Want you here by my side
Come to me - darling rescue me
When this worlds closing in
Theres no need to pretend
Set me free - darling rescue me
I dont wanna let you go
So Im standing in your way
I never needed anyone like Im needin you today
Do I have to say the words?
Do I have to tell the truth?
Do I have to shout it out?
Do I have to say a prayer?

Do I have to say the words
Rescue me from despair
Tell me you will be there
Rescue me - darlin rescue me
Every dream that we share
Every cross that we bear
Come to me - darlin rescue me

The GRANDEST Dad
He is no more in pain.
He is no more suffering.
He is no more crying.
He is no more in distress.
He is no more……….
We knew it.
He was to go.
We all have to leave.
That’s the biggest truth .. they say
Then why are we scared of it?
Are we afraid of the void?
Are we scared of missing?
Missing the snug, warm presence?
The comforting smell of clove?
The magnifying glasses he wore, fancied by all kids of the clan?
The endless poems he could recite?
Or The stories?
Stories that we had learnt by heart
But they would come to life anew
Every time he would narrate.
I might forget the poems.
The stories might escape my memory.
Nobody has to bother anymore, if his evening tea was black and strong enough.
Years later I might have to struggle to recall his voice.
His wrinkled face might fade away slowly.
I’ll miss Bappai still.
He was my precious!
He, I will never loose
He’s a part of my existence
He will remain.
Long live, he sure will.
Forever. Right in my heart.
He is no more suffering.
He is no more crying.
He is no more in distress.
He is no more……….
We knew it.
He was to go.
We all have to leave.
That’s the biggest truth .. they say

Main tainu phir milan gi
I will meet you yet again
How and where? I know not.
Perhaps I will become a
figment of your imagination
and maybe, spreading myself
in a mysterious line
on your canvas,
I will keep gazing at you.
Perhaps I will become a ray
of sunshine, to be
embraced by your colours.
I will paint myself on your canvas
I know not how and where –
but I will meet you for sure.
Maybe I will turn into a spring,
and rub the foaming
drops of water on your body,
and rest my coolness on
your burning chest.
I know nothing else
but that this life
will walk along with me.
When the body perishes,
all perishes;
but the threads of memory
are woven with enduring specks.
I will pick these particles,
weave the threads,
and I will meet you yet again.
